Steve Foster recently acted for another defendant in relation to an offence of Violent Disorder. The charge arose from what was described at the time by a senior Met Officer as 'some of the most shocking football violence seen for some time', and which took place prior to the FA Cup tie between Millwall and Everton in January 2019 at The New Den, London.
Following a large scale investigation in both London and Liverpool a number of males were identified as being involved, and charged with various offences. Our client, having earlier pleaded 'not guilty' to this matter, appeared before Kingston Crown Court and pleaded ‘guilty’. He received a sentence which avoided immediate custody and a Football Banning Order for 3 years.
Counsel instructed was Mr Stuart Dingle of 15 New Bridge Street
