‘Not Guilty' in Attempted Kidnapping Trial

Foster and Coleman recently acted for two defendants at their trial before Isleworth Crown Court in relation to offences of Attempted Kidnapping and Assault. Having waited over 2 years from the date of entering their pleas of ‘not guilty’, and following a six-day trial, both were unanimously acquitted of the Kidnapping matter, but convicted of the lesser offence. They both received a conditional discharge. Trial counsel were Mr Matthew McDonagh and Mr Andrew Newton of 187 Chambers
